Little Scarlett is doing really well. Happy happy baby.
She eats 4oz every 4 hours, and pretty much sleeps all night. So her grandma is happy, since she lets her sleep, only to wake up for her 3am feed. We're all happy with that arrangement, and as a result feel great, and we're really calm, and no one is over worked. Martin is off work for a while to stay with Scarlett, so between my mom on nights, and myself and Martin during the day, we're one big happy family.
Martin surprised me with the Stork in front of our house. It's funny. He loves it. We live on the intersection of a busy street, and people honk and he thinks it 's the best thing that ever happened! That's so Martin, and I love him for it. He's so proud.
Below are some new pics. We thank you all for your kind words. I feel like by thinking all those amazing thoughts, our friends, family, and blog buddies, have helped us along this time. And as a result I feel closer to everybody! We did it! And the future looks brighter than ever!
Today I am well and happy and in love with my family. I sit here with Scarlett in her Bassinet and me on the bed typing away, and I think life is SO good.
Oh, and some fantastic news for the blogger world. My brother John and Angie are expecting a baby!! I have been keeping this secret for quite some time now, and am now allowed to tell the world!! They are due in November and are having a girl!! Scarlett will have a little cousin of the same age. How cool is that?!

I read your blog almost daily yet I think this is the first time I've ever commented. I am a fellow cfer who also was blessed to have a child. My little boy is now six and is the best gift God could have ever given me.
I just wanted to say congratulations and that Scarlett is beautiful!!!! I also wanted to remind you to please take care of yourself. I lost a lot of lung function the first few years of Toby's life because it is a lot of work--but the best work ever :)! I see you have a wonderful support system though so I know you will do just fine. I am so happy for yall!!! I have followed your journey for some time now and the post on Scarlett's birth really did bring tears to my eyes. Enjoy your beautiful daughter! Ginger Hall
Thanks Ginger! I do have support all over the place, and make sure to go to bed at 11 and sleep until 7 every day. My mom does night and loves it! We are making sure that I stay well for my tx. I agree with you, it is very important! Thanks for reminding me that Scarlett needs a healthy mommy!!
Mark I agree, it's the 17th!!
