Hi Everyone,
Due to some patient confidentiality policies that we understand and respect, it's best that we not publicly blog current events at the moment - please know that Natalia is doing well, and we will be writing more soon.
As always, thank you for your support....your thoughts....your prayers.

Thanks for the update. Previous post disappeared and I was wondering what was going on. Totally understandable why.
I have been following Natalia's journey ever since I read about her in The Toronto Star. You have all been in my thoughts and prayers since.
Natalia, you are such an incredibly strong, inspirational and wonderful woman. You go girl - I really feel that everyone's prayers are being answered tonight and you will be home with your family where you belong soon.
Sending all of you tons of positive thoughts and prayers tonight.
Julia
I've alerted many many people to pray for Natalia and others involved. We will continue to pray for healing. I am confident that all are centered in the fullness of Love, Life, and Light.
Psalm 36:7-10 NKJV
How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God!
Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.
They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house,
And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.
For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.
Oh, continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You,
And Your righteousness to the upright in heart.
Dear Natalia
I've been following your blog for some time now, but never written a comment.
I started reading your blog, first because of your surrogacy story. We are also soon going on that path to hopefully have a child. Then when I started reading I found out that this blog is about so much more. Your story has really touched my heart in so many ways.
I can't say in words how happy I am to finally hear that you have gotten new lungs. You have been in my thoughts every day since I found out about your blog.
Sending you a lot of positive thoughts and hugs from Norway.
Love from Linda
Prayers.
Congratulations on the new lungs.
I know this is the now the hardest time in your life. I am praying that your body heals, and that you can slowly start the recovery process in order to get home to your baby, husband, and family.
I will light a candle this morning and send strength, comfort and healing to Natalie and her family. I hope the transplant is a complete success and that her body welcomes her new lungs and restores her to the fullest of health.
Thanks for the update. Now I totally understand. I was wondering what was going on when the last post dissapeared and then nothing else through the day.
Natalia, you are an amazing, brave and inspirational woman. I hope your new lungs bring you all you wish and hope for and I'm so happy for you. You have been in my thoughts and prayers ever since the first time I read your story in The Star and I've been following ever since with your blogs.
You have a "team" that has gone through this journey with you that has been incredible. You keep fighting.
Lots of positive prayers and thoughts are with you and everyone with you today.
Sending you peace! although I know very little about CF I know a lot about organ donation. My son received a new heart last year... I know a little to closely it is to watch your loved one dying before your eyes! Congratulations on your new lungs! and although its one set of problems you are trading for another, I must say in my experience, I'd make the trade any day! Praying for peace for the donor family and that Natalia can be home with her family soon!
I read in today's Star that Natalia has new lungs. I'm so glad! I've been following Natalia's blog since last month.
Yahhhh Natalia - you are breathing with your new lungs.
Praying for no complications.
So happy to read about Natalia's new lungs in the Star this morning - praying that the operation and recovery go well. "Be Brave, Manage it, Overcome it"

I just found out about Natalia's transplantation through one of the list she once belong to. Natalia is an inspiration to me and huge hope for my daughter to be like Natalia. She will be in my prayers and thank you for keeping us up to date in this journey and new lease at life.

Looking forward to hearing the full story. But from the tidbits I'm picking up it sounds like prayers have been answered.
Praying harder than ever that all is going well.
Thinking of you all.
Just stopping by to let you know we are thinking of you and are SOOOO happy for you and your family! We will be thinking of your donor family as well.. it is the ultimate gift.. and we are so thankful to them!
I remember the first several days after tx were the most painful and seemed to creep by, but they do pass and you will be home with that wonderful baby and hubby SOON, I just know it!!!
We'll be following your brother's 'tweets' :)
Much love and hugs, cyster!!!!
We are all relieved and very happy for you and the whole family.
Life is the biggest gift ever and the circle of life the biggest mystery. Thanks God for all miracles.
Praying for your speedy and full recovery, and a happy return home to normal life.
Praying also for the donor's family who is mourning the loss of their loved one.
Natalia,
I am so excited for you!!! Praying lots for you and hoping for a smooth recovery. Anytime you need to talk tx, I'm just an email away, and my husband too. Reading the news took us back a year ago to my recovery... and thinking of you and all you have the chance to life for gave me goosebumps and made me so happy I had to stop and have a good grateful cry. YES!!! Lungs for Natalia!!!!

I'm so thrilled to hear of Natalia's progress. I second the good will in every comment!
Myles, your writing is excellent, communicating your sensitivity to the family and the medical details. I'm so thankful for you.
I've had a strong feeling for a couple months that Christmas had some significance in Natalia's story. I wasn't sure if it would be the date of the transplant or the date she would return home. The meaning of "Natalia"?? CHRIST'S BIRTHDAY! I know He's been with you through every miracle: the timing to the skilled technicians, the medical professionals, the technology, the marvelous community of family and friends, the media coverage and especially to the Maker of lungs, of our very breath.
Let's keep the family of the donor in our prayers as they mourn and celebrate their love one's first Christmas in Heaven in the very presence of Christ the Lord.
Luke 1: 50
And holy is His name. And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.
Luke 2:10-14
But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests."
May God continue to bless a young mother named Natalia: Christ's birthday!
